Josh Bruno

Josh Bruno is the Director of Employer Engagement at the Boston Private Industry Council. The Boston Private Industry Council (PIC) has worked at the intersection of business and community interests to connect Boston residents to promising career pathways, while creating a diverse talent pipeline for local employers. The PIC’s work is grounded in the belief that meaningful employment changes lives, lifts people out of poverty, and strengthens the local economy. For over 20 years Josh has made it his goal to place thousands of Boston Public School students in private sector internships and jobs. While at the PIC, he has worked his way through four different roles in an effort to improve and motivate both colleagues and students. Josh started as an executive recruiter for IT professionals at Mass Futures. Josh graduated from Trinity College in 1993 with a degree in American Studies.
