Ed O'Sullivan

Ed O’Sullivan is Executive Director of the MassHire North Shore Workforce Board (MHNSWB), one of 16 workforce boards across the state of Massachusetts that support our workforce development system so that individuals and employers needing labor market services, (i.e., education, training, job placement, etc.) can access them quickly and successfully. Ed has been instrumental in leading MHNSWB subcommittees and driving workforce development projects across the North Shore, encompassing youth programs, healthcare, offshore wind, advanced manufacturing, IT, education, and apprenticeships.

As a Suffolk University alumnus with a master’s degree in public administration, Ed has diverse nonprofit and development experience. Starting with the MHNSWB in 2004, his previous roles included grant writer, planning director, and director of programs and operations. Ed has also volunteered with the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic and has participated as Marano Fellow in the Sector Skills Academy with The Aspen Institute.
